ALK Bouwsystemen launches the first sandwich panel with a circular insulation core. This unique core bears the name CradleCore® and is now available from FALK. The sandwich panels with CradleCore® come standard with a circularity declaration in the form of a take-back guarantee or even a buy-back guarantee if desired.
By working with CradleCore® insulation foam you benefit from a very low shadow price and build with almost 40% less environmental impact compared to currently common sandwich panels. This makes a very favorable Environmental Performance of Buildings (MPG) possible and gives building owners a good chance of qualifying for MIA-Vamil G6100 or D6101 subsidies, for example. In addition, the low LCA value ensures that you build in accordance with the guidelines of BREEAM and LEED and score extra points for this.
