Material passport framework
Insight into the applied building elements in a building is essential. Various (material) passports of construction works are currently being developed to provide insight into which materials have been used in construction, and how they have been processed and maintained to increase the reuse potential.
It needs to be prevented that different systems lead to different passports that comparison between structures and the applied building elements and exchange of the collected data becomes impossible. A harmonized, uniform framework as the basis for all passports is preferable and can be implemented well at this stage of still limited application. CB'23 is the platform aiming to construct this framework.
